With a formal education in design (inconclusive just how helpful the degree was), I’ve been working on making designs for a while now. The proclivity goes back to the early 2000s when I made my own CCG/TCG designs in my dad’s CorelDRAW to print them.

They were horrible.

When my default icons got boring, I created these designs and replaced the icons with these .ico files. These are: File Explorer, Firefox, This PC, Notepad, a folder for storing temporary documents, and Recycle Bin in the first row. These are all the desktop icons I have.

The second row features the software I use the most: Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Microsoft Word, and Steam.

Mondrian Layouts

The Mondrian layout is an attractive way to disintegrate information or drive the eye’s focus. These are posters and do not follow the Mondrian layout fully, where you have empty containers with solid fills as well, and a lot of color in general. This is my take on how Mondrian can be adapted for these movie/show posters

Swiss Style Rebranding

I took a bunch of books and events and reimagined their covers/posters in the popular Swiss or International Style design. Driven by earlier forms of minimalism and the Bauhaus design movement, the Swiss Style from the 50s and 60s redefined the way in which we create modern designs today.

A booklet I designed for investing in cryptocurrencies. A booklet is not really someone reads carefully, so this is my take on making sure it’s interesting to read through with big text, stock images, and large iconography.
